Dr. Ray Cummings, Pastor - ext. 205
Ray and his wife Amanda, along with sons, Carter and Camron, joined the Golden Acres family in September, 2003. Under his spiritual leadership the church has grown tremendously and the entire worship experience has evolved into a blended setting where people of all ages are truly fed and walk away knowing they've sensed the presence of the Lord. Having played college baseball and spent his first years in Student Ministry, Bro. Ray loves and works well with people of all ages and walks of life. His real passion is soul-winning and discipling people to a deeper relationship with Christ. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree - Chemistry Major, Double Minor in Math and Biology from William Carey College, and Master of Divinity with Languages Degree and Doctor of Ministry with specialization in Church Growth and Evangelism from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

Gary Millraney, Shepherd Pastor - ext. 202
Gary Millraney, 42, grew up in Nashville, Tennessee and is a graduate of The University of Tennessee and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. A life-long learner, Gary earned an undergraduate degree in Finance and a Masters degree in Christian Leadership. He currently serves as our Shepherd Pastor, dealing primarily with Counseling and Family Ministry. He has also served in full-time Student Ministry and College Ministry as part of his 15 year journey in ministry. He is married to Niki (since 1995) and they have two daughters, Lindsey Grace (born on 11/14/01) who could grow up to be a dentist, lead a band of South American rebels to freedom, or be President of the United States, and Anna Kate (born on 4/27/05) who will probably lead a much simpler life of dancing, eating, sleeping, eating, television, and eating. In addition to loving good movies and camping, Gary also likes the Tennessee Volunteers, good coffee, ultimate frisbee, reading, fishing (at his in-law's catfish pond) and generally hangin' out with his family as much as possible.

Gina Harper, Minister of Church Administration and Finance - ext. 203
Under the direction of her mother who was Youth Director at Golden Acres Baptist for 28 years, Gina began ministering at an early age as the Assistant Church Pianist and Children's Church Music Director at the age of 15. In 1998, she accepted the call as a Bi-Vocational Youth Minister and then in 2001, accepted the call as Full time Minister of Students & Finance responsible for Jr. High, Sr. High, and College/Career ministries. In February, 2005, Gina transitioned into a new role as Minister of Church Administration and Finance responsible for all non-ministerial staff, administrative and business transactions, real estate acquisitions, and financial reporting. Gina is married to James Harper and they have two children, Jamie and Eric. Eric is attending the University of Alabama and Jamie is married to Josh McConnell. They have one son, Cason.

Roosevelt Oakes, Pastor’s Assistant - ext. 208
Called into full time ministry in 1967, Roosevelt has served as Pastor at New Providence Baptist Church in Buena Vista, Georgia, and Pastor of Western Heights Baptist Church in Eufaula, Alabama. He was also Associate Pastor at Sunderlan Baptist and Pastor to Silver Run Baptist in the Russell Baptist Association. At his retirement, he moved his membership to Golden Acres Baptist and was asked to come on staff as Pastor's Assistant responsible for Homebound Ministries, hospital visitation, and Evangelism. Roosevelt is also the heart and soul (and bass singer) of the "Singing Oakes Family". He's married to Dean Oakes and has two children, Terry and Pam.

Justin Belew, Worship Pastor - ext. 206
A graduate of Atlanta Christian College, Justin holds his degree in Philosophy of Music Ministry with a minor in piano performance. In addition to his fourteen years of full time ministry, Justin also is in high demand as a studio musician and a session player throughout the southeast United States. Justin has recorded, produced, or performed with a number of musicians including Jim Cole, Allen Levi, Casting Crowns, and Candi Pearson-Shelton. He is also known for his ability to produce, play, and arrange for many different types of instruments. Justin's passion is to teach people how to creatively worship God with their whole life and being. He is happily and gratefully married to Jenna.

Jonathan Taylor, Youth Pastor - ext. 204
Jonathan is a graduate of Central High School and was born and raised in the Phenix City area. He asked Christ into his heart when he was seventeen years old. He attended two years at Chattahoochee Valley Community College then God sent him to Southeastern University where he graduated in 2003 with a Bachlor's degree in Youth Ministry. Previous to serving at Golden Acres Jonathan served in student ministries in Fort Myers, Florida and Columbus, Georgia. His calling and passion is to see a generation of young people stand strong in their faith and fulfill the great commission. Jonathan is married to the former Jessica Toberman, who has a degree in counseling. Jessica is very involved in her husbands ministry at Golden Acres. She has a heart to see young ladies grow and develop their hearts toward purity and to see them passionate about their relationship with Christ. Jonathan believes with everything he has that this student ministry has the opportunity to change a city full of young people. Jonathan and Jessica are now the proud parents of Grace Alina Taylor.

Daniel Cook, Children's Pastor - ext. 207
Daniel experienced the call of God on his life to work, reach, and disciple children while on a missions trip in high school. After completing high school he went on to fulfill the call God placed on his life by attending Southeastern University. While preparing for ministry at Southeastern, Daniel had the opportunity to serve in several great churches in the Lakeland, FL area. After college Daniel returned home to serve God at a church plant in Phenix City. Daniel is married to Abby and they have three daughters Mayson, Micah, and Colby and two sons, Levi and Lex. Abby adds a lot not only to Daniel's personal life but also to his ministry. Abby is a 2nd grade teacher and gives Daniel insight in all areas within the Children's Ministry at Golden Acres. Daniel has a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Beacon University. Daniel believes God has called him to reach lost children and teach them how to be life long followers of God.

Tracy Kash, Administrative Assistant - ext. 201
Tracy Kash came to Golden Acres in March of 2002. She became the Administrative Assistant in May of 2005. Tracy takes care of a very busy church office and congregation. She assists the ministerial staff in their administrative responsibilities and takes care of the church database, website, membership, baptism pictures, contributions, and general administrative responsibilities of the church. Tracy is married to Steve Kash who is a Realtor for Shepherd Brokers Real Estate in Phenix City and has two children, Jenna who is married to Ian Allen and Cameron who is a junior at Auburn University.

Melissa Boyer, Administrative Assistant - ext. 209
Melissa Boyer came to Golden Acres Baptist Church in July 2006. She became an Administrative Assistant in October 2008 and now assists Gina and Tracy with the administrative responsibilities of the church. She is married to David Boyer and they have two children, Haley and Brandon. They are a military family stationed at Ft Benning.
