Prayer Requests

Here at GABC, we believe in prayer!  You can have your prayer request added to our family prayer list by:

• Writing your request on the list at our Welcome Center.
• Turn in your request on the Family Prayer List from your Bible Fellowship Group.
• Call the church office (334-298-3381) 
• Write your request on a visitors card and place it in the offering plate.
• Submit your prayer request on the Prayer Request Form on the website.
• E-mail your request to Gina Harper at gabcgina@att.net.

 

The Upper Room

The Upper Room is located behind the choir loft in the Sanctuary.   This beautiful room is filled with a peaceful spirit that invites the prayers of individuals and prayer partners.  We also have the Upper Room Prayer Ministry during Sunday Worship Services.  Volunteers meet on a rotating basis to pray for Brother Ray, those involved in leading worship, and for the Holy Spirit to move throughout the congregation.  There is an atmosphere of faith and expectation of what the Lord is going to do.  If you are interested in volunteering to pray during worship call Linda Groff at (334) 298-2968.

Prayer Warriors

There are many opportunities in our church to pray with other Prayer Warriors.  Currently a Women's group meets on Tuesdays at 10 AM.  If you are interested in starting a group or being a part of an existing group call Judy Wood at (334) 297-1140.

Prayer Chain

Our prayer chain is made up of Prayer Warriors willing to answer the call to pray for special needs when emergencies arise.  The purpose of the prayer chain is to receive prayer requests by or on behalf of anyone in our church family who has an emergency situation or serious concern or knows of a special prayer need.  Prayer chain Prayer Warriors pray continuously and faithfully for prayer requests and keep all requests in strict confidence.  To activate the prayer chain, call Sarah McLaney at (334) 749-7209 or email her at samclaney@aol.com.
